FORT WORTH, Texas — When a celebrated company like National Farm Life Insurance partners with the iconic Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, both are big winners. As a sponsor of the 2023 rabbit show, NLFIC fostered real world learning for Texas youth while boosting its profile as the Lone Star State’s premier life insurance provider.
“We were extremely proud to be part of this year’s Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo,” said NFLIC President Kyle McGregor. “Community support and peace of mind in an uncertain world are bedrocks of our storied history.”
The NFLIC logo showed up on judges’ aprons, winning belt buckles and all things rabbit. Appreciation for the company’s support echoed through the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall and Dickies Arena.
NFLIC agent Linda Andress of Burleson worked the NFLIC booth. “So many people stopped by to thank us — a reminder that we do more than just provide financial security to Texas families. We are part of the family.”
A record 1.3 million visitors attended this year’s stock show and rodeo, many watching a short video showcasing the story of William C. Young, who founded NFLIC in 1946 in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
The only things that have changed in the last 77 years are the increased number of polices and independent agents, enhanced financial services and a new location atop a hill just a stone’s throw from one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the nation.
“The entire NFLIC family — office and field staff, agents, senior management and board members — are sold out to Mr. Young’s commitment and his sense of responsibility to those who call Texas home,” McGregor said. “Keeping the FWSSR legendary would make him proud.”
Founded in 1946 in the Fort Worth Stockyards, NFLIC offers products through more than 1,300 independent agents. Whole life insurance is the company’s cornerstone, complemented by a suite of financial services marketed to families across Texas.
