FORT WORTH, Texas – National Farm Life Insurance Co. has appointed Keith Brown and Samuel “Rusty” Haile Jr. to its board of directors, following a shareholder vote at the company’s annual meeting last month.

Brown is founder and co-owner of Prime Building Components — a pre-engineered metal building and fabrication business based in Dublin with a national reputation for designing and engineering state-of-the-art dairies and large commercial facilities. Haile is senior vice president for the West Sales Division of Acme Brick Co. headquartered in Fort Worth.

The new directors will work with NFLIC’s current board members to drive profitable, disciplined growth while maintaining the company’s longstanding commitment to service, integrity, loyalty and security.

“Keith and Rusty are a perfect fit for NFLIC,” said company President Kyle McGregor. “Their bottom-line financial and marketing acumen will provide invaluable insight as they work with current board members to ensure peace of mind for policyholders and growth opportunities for agents.”

Board Chairman J.D. “Chip” Davis said, “It’s gratifying to have such high-caliber talent like Keith and Rusty. They bring significant experience, and we are grateful for their willingness to join what we believe is one of the best life insurance and financial services companies in the nation.”

In addition to Prime Building Components, Brown is founder and co-owner of two real estate holding companies, AKB and KSB Prime Investments; P KSEP, an aviation company; and Indian Mountain Ranch.

He is a member of the Executive Affiliate American Society of Agricultural Engineers and a lifetime member of Dairy Shrine.

“NFLIC is built on a strong foundation of enhancing lives and communities,” Brown said. “I am thrilled to work with the entire National Farm Life family to continue our storied legacy.”

Haile began his career with Acme Brick in 1990 as a residential sales representative, working his way up to regional sales manager (the only manager in company history to manage three regions) before being promoted in 2018 to senior vice president. He is a nine-time winner of the Acme President’s Club Ring of Honor and received the President’s Award in 2016. He is responsible for $275 million in sales revenue, 60 sales representatives and 15 sales locations.

He is a member of the Texas Masonry Council board of directors and has served on the University of Louisiana Monroe Athletic Foundation board and the Quoin/DFW Associated General Contractors advisory board.

“I am humbled to be selected to the NFLC Board of Directors,” Haile said. “I look forward to helping continue the company’s 75-year dedication to policyholders, agents, employees and the communities we serve.”
