FORT WORTH, Texas – National Farm Life Insurance Co. has named Mark E. Williams chief operating officer. Williams joined NFLIC in 2002 as assistant vice president for accounting.

“National Farm Life is fortunate to have a deeply talented and dedicated team of senior executives to lead us forward” said company President Kyle McGregor. “Mark’s relentless commitment to our policyholders, our agents and our employees — paired with his keen operational and management skills — makes him exceptionally qualified for this critical role.”

As COO, Williams’ diverse industry experience will enable him to coordinate larger portions of the organization, execute growth strategies and align daily operations with the company’s vision.

“I am excited for this next chapter in my service to National Farm Life and look forward to working closely with the board of directors, senior leaders and agents as we chart the course to continued success,” said Williams.

Williams chairs the Texas Association of Life and Health Insurers and is a member of the American Council of Life Insurer’s Life Investments Committee and Insurance Regulation Committee. He also serves on the Life Insurance Council Investment Committee.

He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Tarleton State University, and lives in Grapevine with his wife, Trudie, and son, Blake.

Founded in 1946 in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, NFLIC offers products through more than 1,300 independent agents. Whole life insurance is the cornerstone product of the company and is complemented by a suite of financial services marketed to families across Texas.
